School-Based Resources

The following programs are available to assist families experiencing financial difficulties, illness and family emergencies. Families have historically requested support in the form of clothing, household items, furniture, groceries and holiday wishes. If your family is experiencing a difficult time, or if you know of a family in need, please contact our school counselors for assistance and view the links below.

FWES Rise & Shine

Rise & Shine is a group of FWES parents/caregivers with the mission of offering strength and support to all in our community by making respectful, authentic connections, and unleashing a spirit of generosity and celebration. TFES Cheetahs Care

Cheetahs Care is a project designed to identify needs around the TFES community and the resources to meet them. In Upper Dublin, there are many families that are indeed fortunate. At the same time though, a growing number of area families are struggling.

The Maple Glen Giving Tree works to help address the needs of Maple Glen families struggling with financial difficulties, illness and family emergencies.

Peace & Shake Partnership with JTES, SRMS, UDHS

Peace and Shake, a 501c3 non-profit organization, partners with Jarrettown Elementary, Sandy Run Middle School, and Upper Dublin High School in its efforts to offer strength and support to all those in our community by making respectful authentic connections, unleashing the spirit of generosity and celebration.

Community-Based Resources

Mattie Dixon Community Cupboard

Mattie Dixon is a non-profit organization offering services to our community including: an extensive list of food items (including fresh produce, dairy, frozen meats and baked goods); a boutique with clothing and household items; annual holiday programs; back to school backpack program; and, when available, financial assistance in emergency situations. 

Willow Grove Baptist Food Pantry

Families may visit the Willow Grove Baptist Food Pantry to get much-needed help each week. Their volunteers will come to your vehicle to collect your information and provide you with our ‘Food Kits.’ They also offer a clothing closet.

Cradles to Crayons

Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12 with the everyday essentials they need to thrive — at home, at school, and at play.

Your Way Home’s Mission is to ensure that everyone who lives, works, learns, and invests in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania has equal opportunity to live in an affordable home and a thriving community.

Family Promise MontcoPA

Family Promise Montco PA (formerly Inter-Faith Housing Alliance) has partnered with religious congregations, dedicated volunteers, and generous donors to help Montgomery County families experiencing poverty and homelessness. The services we offer—emergency food relief; emergency, transitional, and supportive housing; and aftercare—help families to preserve their dignity and work toward or maintain self-sufficiency.
