Fort Washington Elementary School

Fifth graders at Fort Washington Elementary have been drawing calculations on doorways, windows (with dry erase!), and journeying through their classrooms for group discussions and collaborative problem-solving with our new elementary math curriculum, Illustrative Math (IM). IM's student-centered, conceptual approach deepens understanding and sparks excitement, proving that a shared, hands-on experience makes learning math more fun!
